Kentucky Derby Auction

Plan on attending the Kentucky Derby Party & Auction at the American Legion in Manchester for a very fun and lively night.  The $30 ticket includes a live screening of the race, buffet dinner, live and silent auctions, as well as prizes for the best “his” and “her” Derby Day hats.

The event is the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club’s largest annual fundraiser.  Each year, the Club awards several thousand dollars in scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Essex and Manchester.  We are asking the community to support us in this effort.  Do you have an unusual item for auction?  A painting or antique piece of jewelry, sports tickets, or a time-share that you won’t be using?  Senator Bruce Tarr, our auctioneer, will turn your item into gold for some deserving students starting college.
