Friends Forever Alumni

Friends Forever International (FFI) is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that believes we can all help build a better world by empowering our most underutilized asset: youth. FFI works with communities around the globe to build the leadership abilities of their youth from diverse backgrounds to tackle local and global issues.

FFI's alumni are their strongest asset. Alumni engagement has been a core component of FFI’s success over the last several years. In 2012, FFI brought back their first alumni to the United States to assist with programs. By the end of 2019, FFI has brought back over 30 alumni as program counselors and interns, with more coming every year. Unlike other organizations that work with youth, FFI keeps the door open for any young people who have ever participated.

This meeting will feature two of FFI's alumni: Eden Neiberg and Éirinn McAleese.

Eden Neiberg (‘08 Middle East Program: NH)

Eden was a part of the first team from Israel in 2008. He recently finished studying for his Bachelors of Education focusing on history and informal education. He is a part-time researcher with a cybersecurity startup. In the remaining time, Eden volunteers with multiple education programs and cares for the finances of the city kibbutz (a kibbutz is a collective community) he lives in. Eden serves as FFI Middle East Alumni coordinator, working to organize and plan events for the FFI Alumni both in the Middle East, and globally.

Éirinn McAleese ('17 Northern Ireland Program: NH)

Éirinn came as part of the program in the summer of 2017. Since then she has been working part-time in a local grocery store and is almost finished her first year studying law at a local university in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She has been an FFI alumni for the past 4 years and also volunteers in her local community foodbank helping out.
