Butterfly Festival

Event Overview:  Kiwanis supports an Event hosted by Family Services. Families, children, and individuals attend the event to learn about butterflies and participate in other games and activities. Near the end of the event , all who purchased a butterfly will revive their butterfly in a pre-packaged individual release box. Then as a group , everyone releases their butterfly.

This event supports a Family Services program called Parent Connection. This is a local program that offers home visitation services for first- time parents focused on child development, health issues, and family support.

What do you want me to do? This is a low exertion activity where we serve ready to eat foods and water. Then we assist with distribution of butterflies. Minor clean up of park and we are done.
