Guests June 25, 2021

Linda Robles brought friend, Addie Weiss, as a guest.  Addie is a first grader who dreams of being a doctor so she can help others.  Let's keep in touch with Addie; she's surely destined to be a future Kiwanian.

Susan Smith, a prospective member and sister to new member Sandra Morris (who is current Rotarian of the Year) joined us to hear the great program by Chief Joel Richards and Sheriff Terry Langley.  Susan is the retired Associate Director of Ingram Library and presently also President of the Pilot Club of Haralson County.  Please come back, Susan to make Sandra Morris behave.

Bob Uglum, esteemed servant-leader of the Golden K Kiwanis Club, joined us to hear the program and visit friends.

Joe Tarshis brought prospective member John Nino.  John "returned to have a second look."  He is an Army veteran who served in the Military Police and moved here from Arkansas with his wife.  Sounds like he was called here to become a Kiwanian.  Thanks for returning, John, for "a second look."

Member Sue Horn (publisher of the Star News) and Dan Minish (reporter for the Times-Georgian) also joined us to report on our Friday program.

Member and Sheriff's Deputy Greg Holcombe proudly announced he is engaged to a classy beauty, Christie.  Congratulations, Greg.  Are we invited to the wedding?

[ For the second year in a row, Greg was awarded the "golden spatula" for the extraordinary assistance lended to Federal Marshall Jeff May in the Kiwanis Cookout for the Council for the Aging Spring Fling 2021.]

Keep Stuart and Camille Yahm in your prayers.  Stuart is moving to Cottage Landing on July 1st, where he'll be in section 114-B.  We assume he'll still be telling great jokes.
