Our guest speaker is:
Rachel Krause PhD
- BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of British Columbia in 2006.
- MSc in Biology from Concordia University.
- PhD in Parasitology from McGill University.
> Rachel joined the faculty of Canadian Mennonite University in 2015, where she is Assistant Professor of Biology.
> One of the joys of her work at CMU is teaching in the Assiniboine Forest, and she has learned a lot about this forest and urban forests generally from exploring it with her students.
Rachel’s presentation is expected to include how CMU has been using the forest. She plans to share a bit about the small research projects her students have been doing over the last number of years that involve the Assiniboine Forest.
