Did you know there's a unique treasure in the community? Here at Living Prairie Museum, you learn and can discover the importance of grasslands, as there is less than 1% left in North America, and the ecosystems it helps. Our club has been a great supporter of the Living Prairie Museum for many years, so if you want to learn why it's free to take a walk through the 32 acres or learn more by going on a tour or checking out their hidden treasures inside.

We are thrilled to share some amazing moments from the second annual Rotary Green Spaces Golf Tournament held on August 13th, 2024, at the beautiful Kingswood Golf and Country Club in La Salle. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together passionate golfers, community supporters, and Rotary members for a day filled with fun, fellowship, and a shared commitment to our community.

Thanks to your participation and generous support, we are one step closer to enhancing the green spaces in west Winnipeg. The proceeds from this year’s tournament will go directly to support the Assiniboine Forest, Living Prairie Museum, and Grant’s Old Mill—three incredible beneficiaries that contribute to the beauty and sustainability of our community.

A special thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who contributed.  Your involvement truly makes a difference!

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where young people can develop leadership skills.  On January 25th, they presented at the club their experiences.

Presented  are five photographs capturing the essence of Rotary Winnipeg - Assiniboine's 2023 annual dinner affair, an event which coincided this year with the 50th anniversary of the club.

These snapshots pay homage to the club's milestone and history.   They encapsulate the spirit of camaraderie, achievement, and distinction that permeated the evening's ambiance on the memorable date of Friday, May 5th, 2023.

Delve into this opulent gallery and embark on a visual journey through the remarkable plaques, distinguished certificates, two captivating group photographs, each embodying and serving as bookends to the 50 year history as a Rotary club.

We are pleased that you have chosen to join us today.  We are proud to be members of an organisation that is truly international, apolitical and with out any specific denominational affiliations.  In 1985 Rotary launched the effort to eradicate the polio virus from the face of this earth.  Through Polio Plus and it's many supporters we are well on the way to making this a reality.  You have visited our website now, visit us for dinner on Thursday evening at 5:45 pm at the Holiday Inn Airport West, 2520 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg for good food, some fun and fellowship.
