In this Rotary year we can look with confidence to a year of service in our community and world, with
opportunities of experiencing our community and world, all the while enjoying the fellowship of Rotary.
As our Club continues to grow, we are so grateful for the veteran Rotarians that guide and sustain the Club and we so appreciate the new Rotarians who have joined in the past year. We look forward to welcoming other new Rotarians who will join in the current year.
With Sonja Susut from our Club serving as District Governor this year, we look forward to hosting the
District Conference for District 5550 in May of 2024. Joining with the Moose Jaw and AssiniboiaRotary Clubs, planning and hosting the Conference will demand much of our efforts over the year. It is our goal to provide a Conference experience that will highlight our local community, offer opportunities for inspiration and information, and lots of Rotary good times and memories.
Of course, the work of our Club on all fronts must continue…including our international service in
Guatemala; our local service to the community and youth; our ‘hands on’ service projects; our
programs, fundraising and membership recruitment.
Someone said, “The world needs more Rotarians!” Without doubt our world does need more folks
committed to service above self. Needed are those who share the goal of creating hope - in our world,
in our community, among our neighbours in need, among our friends, and even within ourselves. It’s a great time to be part of Rotary.
Welcome to our Club
Friends of Rotary
Do you like the work Rotary does and would like to help but without the time or financial commitment of being a member or belonging to a club? If so, then Friends of Rotary is for you. Friends of Rotary requires no commitments whatsoever. You simply let us know that you are interested in helping out with Rotary projects as a volunteer, and we add you to our database so that you are advised when we are looking for assistance for our events. For each event, you will receive an email inviting you to sign-up on our online volunteer list. The choice is yours to participate. No money, no commitment.
