"Rotarian and Chair of the Canadian Ripple Effect Program Committee, Gord LeMaistre attended the Interact Meeting on Friday December 10 and was presented with a cheque for $165 for the Ripple Effect Scholarship Program to sponsor a Middle School student attending the Santo Domingo Xenacoj School in Guatemala.  (pictured is Thomas Poulin and Gord)
 
Also received were two donations for Rotary's Polio Plus Campaign from the Interact Club for a total of $490.08. A big thank you to the Interact club for helping us reach our fundraising goal!!
$250 for selling End Polio Now cookies and $240.08 for the club's Purple Pinkie Day Polio Fundraiser at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
The Interact meeting was well attended and the students have been busy fundraising and working on projects. A Little Library has been built and will be placed in the community soon.
Another Interact fundraiser is happening at Spirit Oak Tea to raise funds for the Ripple Effect Scholarship Program. Please drop in and purchase some tea to support this fundraiser. The tea is delicious!!"
