New computer discussion. Motion made to trade in old computer plus pay $379 for a new one and transfer of data 1st by Dayle, 2nd Amy carried. George will look after this.
Beer fest discussion: room arrangement discussed, New floor plan this year to allow for more vendors! Also no raffle! Beer reps will be asked to contribute merch towards door prizes (2 or 3 bundled packages)Sheri Connery will create FB EVENT ASAP. Motion made to get tickets for beer fest printed ASAP 1st Lois, 2nd Whitney. Carried.
Coat check money discussion: ideas on what to do with coat check money. Gifts to seniors in nursing homes who don't have family or won't have visits this holiday season. Amanda to contact Rideau to get details. Christmas store through Cfs for kids to go and shop for their parents. Motion made to spend $100 to purchase items for the store 1st by Amy 2nd by Whitney. Carried. Lois and Dayle and Whitney will take care of this.
Ribfest discussion: city will take over kid zone. We need to do up a letter to Richard Green saying when, where, time etc. YAC program volunteers will run it. One rotary member each day to supervise. Amanda will write a draft if letter. Amanda and Amy will supervise the two days.
Dec. 18th meeting at Horton' s to sort and wrap presents for seniors.
