As most of you know, our Jeanne is recuperating from a number of health issues.. Her grand nephew, James Shearer, who is very proud of Jeanne, plays for our Brandon Wheat Kings. Jeanne would be quite pleased if you took the time to vote for James!

SHOPPERS DRUG MART FANS CHOICE VOTING

Brandon, Manitoba –– Shoppers Drug Mart is pleased to announce plans to give western Manitoba hockey fans the opportunity to choose the Brandon Wheat Kings’ Fans Choice Award for the 2017-18 Western Hockey League season.

Beginning this week, fan balloting will be available at both Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Brandon as well as online HERE. Wheat Kings’ fans can also cast a vote by visiting BDO Fan Services during all Wheat Kings’ home games at Westman Place, beginning Friday, February 2^nd when the visiting Prince George Cougars make their first appearance in Brandon in two yesrs.

The Deadline to enter is Tuesday, March 13th at midnight, with the winner to be unveiled during Fan Appreciation and Awards Night on Saturday, March 17th.

Recent winners of the hockey club’s Fans Choice Award have included the likes of Jordan Papirny, Jayce Hawryluk, Michael Ferland and Matt Calvert.

This marks the 12th season that Shoppers Drug Mart has served as the Title Sponsor of the Wheat Kings’ Fans Choice Award, which is presented to the hockey club’s Most Popular Player with their fans.
