Here is an update from Sheri in the sunny (warm) south.
Hi all from the sunny south. First off, I must apologize for not spending more time on booking the speakers for our Rotary meetings. This year I have been totally immersed in writing. I don't see that I'll be able to find the time in the next few months to give this the attention that it deserves. The only speaker confirmed is Bobbi Schram (email thread below) for March 19th. A dismal performance I know. And again, my apologies. So please go ahead and take over the bookings George. Kim Longstreet has a powerful message from what I've seen on Facebook and will be an excellent speaker.
The books are going well. The first book is done and away at the editors. The second book is having another read-through and then also off to the editors. I'm planning on outlining the third book before I head north again. By Christmas, I'll have covers, and four edited books ready to be uploaded onto Amazon. I've handed off my duties for the Amigos de La Cruz and frankly, most of my friends down here haven't seen much of me either. I write and walk the dogs. But strangely enough, I'm very happy in my fantasy 1920s world. (The book's setting). I spend the mornings writing, the afternoons working on the start-up business that is being a self-published author these days. More writing after dinner and doggie walks.
