This week's meeting - April 11
This week's meeting will start at 5:30 !
This will be an abbreviated meeting this week as the Westman Auditorium has John McDermott playing.. Some members have tickets for this event, and we will also be running the coat check. Plan on coming a bit early for the Rotary Meeting, and we will try and be finished by 6:30.
Samaritan House has moved to 820 Pacific Avenue but they still need soaps, shampoos and any other personal care items. Jeanne will collect the items from our meeting and take them to their "new" facility.
The glasses for the Beer Tasting have arrived and we will have a sample of one at this week's meeting. Ticket sales are slow, so please revisit those merchants that said they would buy tickets and jog their memories!!!
For those that RSVP'd the Salvation Army, their lunch is tomorrow. Also a reminder that the Home Show is on at the Keystone Center this weekend.
Helpers are needed to arrange books at the Victoria Inn Book Sale that is presented by the Brandon Club. A number of their members helped us man the Guest Services at the Royal Winter Fair, and now it is our turn to help them... so please make time to come out and help sort books. (April 16)
We will have a business meeting next week when there is not a conflict with other activities. The upcoming events and speakers are on the Club web page (Google search "Rotary Club of Brandon Sunset").
Remember, the District Conference is May 9 to 11 in Winnipeg, and next year it is in Nipawin from June 18 to 21.
