Royal Winter Fair
Next week's (April 3) Rotary Meeting is cancelled because most of our hardworking members will be working at the Fair. Regular meetings will begin the week after.
A few weeks ago we had invited Rob O'Connor and Rena Stackhouse to our meeting, where we explained the good points and the areas that we thought that needed improving from the Guest Relations point of view at last year's Fair. Many of our suggestions have been acted on, and Lois and Dayle will tell us about the improvements at this week's meeting.
A big thanks to all who have volunteered their time to work the long hours at guest relations, and also those that were able to convince others to help us. I made an appeal for help from the Brandon Club at their Tuesday meeting and am happy to report that members from their club have filled in some of the gaps in our Guest Relations schedule!
Please remember to bring your "date" books to the meeting to confirm the times and dates that you have signed up for.
