On the Road Again

Our regular meeting place - Mum's Restaurant at the Golf Course is closing in a few days. It is very unfortunate that we will be losing our cosy little meeting room and good meals, but these circumstances are beyond our Club's control.
Dayle Hughson and Lois Horton have spent a good deal of time looking at other places in Brandon that would be suitable for our meetings. They have considered: a room that we could meet at every week without being " moved", a menu that would accomodate light and regular meals, privacy - away from other restaurant areas, and a central area of the city, if possible, and also access. One of the parameters of the meeting place would also be that we could keep our Thursday evening at 5:45 time. Dayle and Lois will tell the club members of their findings at our meeting this week - October 3. This will be our last meeting at Mum's at the Golf Course.
Our Club will have to decide where our next "home" will be, based on the information that Dayle and Lois have been able to get from other establishments in the city.
