May 7 Meeting Minutes

1. Call to order at 5:55pm
2. 4-way test
3. Announcements
   1. Deanna’s social tickets- $10 per ticket June 23 let Whitney know if you would like a ticket
   2. Pat
      1. Blanket exercise
         1. Pats friend has a friend who does the blanket exercise
         2. Interactive exercise, very emotional, reflection
         3. Represents indigenous view 
         4. Set it up in the fall on a weekend or something
      2. Report for wellness fair
         1. 20 years running
         2. Multi agency
         3. Focused on 3 -4 years old screened 250-325 children
         4. Focused on hearing, speech, dental, vision and development 
         5. Find areas of deficiency and address the problems
         6. Screening is done by professionals
         7. Supporting Agency: Brandon School Division, Prairie Mountain Health, Child Family Services, Brando Friendship Center, Manitoba Families
         8. Approximate cost $7000
            1. Any funding would be helpful, pat would like to see if we can donate money

   1. Deanna will join pat for Saturday afternoon
