Rotary Meeting May 28, 2018

Meeting called at 5:50. Opened with OCanada and 4Way test
Rib Fest music-( Amy) Rhoni with Trident music $500 (plus sponsorship pkg), Star Fm from 11-2 each day, Friday Mitchell Mozden, Chris Ghodoni band. Saturday Dylan MacDonald, Vertigo. Sunday Jakeleg Blues Band. Still needs contact for Miss klippenstein, Montery Jammers. She will make up contracts for the bands with Whitney/Sheri. Jonathan will be taking over Music duties when she moves.
West Jet Tickets (Judy)- amount of $10,000 or less, 2000 tickets @ $5/ticket.
Lois – District conference weekend recap. Book grant money is in! Shelter box money raised $1,325 by youth exchange students. Our club will get credit for sending money in. We won a literacy award for 2017/2018, foundation banner for $100/member 100% participation, Shelter box will be taken over by Cheryl Winger from noonclub, Lois is now Vice Chair of World Community Service Group
Hamburger day (noon club) June 13th $5/burger 11-2 at Princess Park
Dayle – contact from CKLQ vote to accept contract Lois 1st Jeanne 2nd for $550 . Carried
Stage rental contract $300. Summer fair schedule to be signed up for passed around. School division scholarship awards need to sign up for.
Mission Uganda letter from Whitney to consider for donation of $300 for medical/school/hygine supplies. 1st Whitney, 2nd Amy. Carried.
Keystone sign for digital media – rib fest advertised for free. Quote from Webbers for printing obtained.
After the fires last week, Whitney and Amy went and donated some Walmart gift cards, Socks, underwear, water. Water donated to Bear Clan as discussed.
