Minutes for July 14, 2016

Attending – George. Walter, Bill,Lois,Meghan,Dayle,Kumaran

The meeting opened with the singing of O Canada and the Rotary Grace.

Bill suggested that we should contact the prospective new members to see if they had transportation to the meetings and offer to pick them up if they do not.

Lois had Kumaran fill out the membership information form so he can be added to the membership roster.

Canvassing for the Arabian Horse Show was discussed and updated. Dayle will send it to George to put in the next bulletin.

Lois has ordered 100 pamphlets of Rotary information. Cost Approx. $10.00.

Meghan reported on her attendance at the Flatlander’s Beer tasting. She has contact information for a lot of distributors which she will pass on to Sheri C. for her to contact. All of them were pleased with the date of April 8, 2017.

George has submitted our request for sponsorship the MB Liquor and Lotteries and we should hear back from them

Within 90 days.

Meghan will be attending Zone training session in Winnipeg in Sept.

Walter reported Rotaract meeting will be Sunday July 17 at Starbucks starting at 11:00 A.M.

Jeanne has booked the Community Hall in Onanole for our Social Get Together on August 21. Rent is $35.00 which the club will cover. We are considering booking Jodi’s Catering to provide the food at $12.00 each rather than PotLuck. All members for Sunset and Rotaract are invited along with any family/friends they wish to bring.

Lois took part in the world Community Service Webinar and asked for anyone interested in taking the Foundation training to do Grant applications to let her know. Meghan is interested. It would be good to have a few people do this.

Bill collected Happy Dollars and the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 P.M.
