Hello to All

The District has some additional Grant money available for club projects for 2014-15. This is because there was approximately $3800.00 in contingency funds and an exchange increase because the District grant was receive in Canadian dollars and not US. Thus there is approximately $7500.00 available on first come first served basis to apply for additional district grants for 2014-15 The deadline for applying by qualified clubs will be March 15 to allow for completion of a project by June 30, 2015.

We would like all applications to be done on clubrunner grants form--be sure that you are in the 2014-15 year and not 2015-16 year.

If you use wrong year then grant will not be reviewed for approval for 2014-15 but considered for 2015-16 year

A reminder that qualified clubs can also now apply for grants in scholarships; youth programs and projects for the 2015-16 year for which most deadlines to apply are April 15 so that District can submit total grant app to RI by May, 2015 for approval.

I am attaching the new "Terms & Conditions" for applying for youth programs which is new for 2015-16.

Basically Qualified clubs can apply for a maximum of $500.00 matching grant for Long Term Exchange Student mandatory event expenses,RYLA Registration,new Rtaract/Interact club startup costs.
