Beer Tasting - Done for this year!

We are almost completed with the Beer Tasting again for this year. It was a wonderful event on Saturday, and we are so grateful for all the people who attended and assisted us.
It was really kind of scary when we realized that we were competing with a Wheat Kings Playoff Game and the Home Show, but attendance was good and we are sure we were successful.

The final tally isn't ready yet - we have a few bills to pay and are waiting on some of our sponsors and advertisers to send in their payments. We will update the club as soon as we have this completed.
Special thanks to Sheri for organizing the Beer Distributors and also arranging for Dusty's dad to do the painting on the 10th and Victoria Liquor Mart. Both of those things really helped our profits.
Thank you to the Committee who worked since last fall to help organize - Jacquie who was always there, sold tickets, got prizes, and helped so much, Judy who worked tirelessly, did the power point and got so many sponsors and prizes,Sheri who hosted most of our meetings, Rotaractors Walter and Sid who attended our meetings, gave us lots of advice and help with the planning and the event, George who does the liquor contacts with Winnipeg and the local stores, and Dayle and Lois for all the work they did on so many fronts.
Many thanks to all our members - you sold ads, got prizes, sold tickets and helped at the Royal Oak. It was definitely a group effort, and we are looking at ways to make next year even better!
