Rotary Club of Brandon Sunset
Minutes – August 20, 2015

Present:   Lois, Theo, Jacquie, Jeanne, Bill, Dayle, Sheri, George,  Judy

Guests:  Whitney Seib, District Governor Ken and wife Donna

 

  1. Lois called to order at 6:35 following meeting with DG Ken
  2. O Canada and Rotary Grace  DG Ken presented new pin to President Lois Horton
  3. Induction of Bill Taylor back to Club
  4. Reminder September 17th – attending Sunrise Credit Union grand opening in lieu of meeting
  5. George officially introduced D.G. Ken to  the club
  6. Speech for DG Ken
    1. Rotary Global member benefits – 200 companies world wide who will deal with Rotarians – instead of discount donate to Rotary fund, or a discount, some BOTH (airlines, hotels, restaurants, retailers, etc.  Use MY ROTARY)
  7. Sheri brought up/suggested that there be a strong Rotaract component on the Saturday at District Conference
  8. Meeting Adjourned – 715 pm
