April 2nd- pre beer fest

Meeting called at 6pm
Opened with the Four Way Test
- Correspondence - Grant money received $750.00 we will spend up to $1500 for pre kindergarten and kindergarten students. We will need to order more books through scholastics including French. Application for funding for this year due by April 15th, Lois will put in the application for RYLA Students. Books are here for Wellness fair need to be stamped.
- Reminder of potluck on April 16th at Horton’s at 6pm. Reminder of allergies – Dairy free if possible, pineapple, Gluten free if possible.
- Meeting cancelled on April 9th .
- Beer Fest – Saturday set up discussed. People needed to be there at 1pm for set up. Come back at 630 for the night. People are needed to work that night at the door. Lois will create a tally sheet to vote for best beer (trophy donated Regent custom cresting), paid post on FB after the event and in the Brandon Sun saying thanks and list of organizations supported.
- Organization ideas to support : Preschool Milestones Wellness Fair($1000), Bear Clan(Water bottles or money donation),Elspeth Reid Centre, Cairo’s maternity home, Westman Woman’s shelter, BAUPC, Little Teaching Lodge (Brandon Friendship Centre), Souris Daycare, BRHC, Westman Immigration Services for Refugees ,Healthy Mom/Healthy baby programs, Brandon School Division Sensory Room at Riverview , Betty Gibson school playground, Cadets
- Rib Fest- Churro stand email from people in Winnipeg, email from Joe Beavers. Discussion about extra food trucks/vendors. Suggestion about sub committees for Rib Fest questions. Brandon Mobility will sponsor for $1000 for music stage (will cover the Chris Ghodoni band for Friday and Saturday night).
