Rotary Club of Brandon Sunset
Minutes – August 13, 2015

Present:   Lois, Theo, Jacquie, Pat, Kathryn Ann, Dayle, Sheri, George

 

  1. Lois called to order at 6
  2. O Canada and Rotary Grace
  3. Reminder – next week is out meeting with District Governor Ken, please come for 4:30 if you are able
  4. Yard sale went well - $149 raised as well as a truck load of goods was sent to Brandon Community Builders
  5. Talked about hosting a garage/vendor sale at a community centre
    1. Thought October would be a good time of year
    2. Rotaract Exec changed – Mia is now the Presdent and Rhoni is Vice President
  6. Kathryn Ann spoke to us about her life and career.  
    1. She has lived a full life full of adventures and has had a very successful career, if you missed this I’m sure she would be happy to share her story with you another time
  7. Note – September 17th meeting is cancelled 
    1. We will instead attend Business after 5 at Sunrise credit Union
    2. The club will buy a bouquet from the Bloombox for the occasion
