Had the opportunity to spend the morning with Mike Shambrook our Youth Director and incoming President for 2023/24 at Burleigh Heads State School, where we had the pleasure of awarding the Annual Rotary Award for Best All-rounder. This year's recipient is Lani Warneke. Mike has done an outstanding job as youth director working with the Interact Clubs at Miami High and Mary Mount and with Peter Tong (Principal Burleigh Heads State School), were we recently completed seating and garden beds in the school's native beehive area. |
