Seed the Ground

Natalie Lidgerwood is a dynamic leader dedicated to both Gold Coast environmental sustainability and the vibrant arts sector.

 

As the Director of Seed The Ground, a local not-for-profit, Natalie leads efforts to divert food waste from landfill and regenerate soil health through community composting and sustainable waste management services. So far, Natalie and her team have composted over 140tonnes of locals food scraps. Seed The Ground is focused on strengthening its role as a leader in local circular-economy initiatives, making composting accessible and rewarding for everyone.

 

In addition to this environmental work, Natalie is a highly accomplished Freelance Arts Producer and project manager with over 22 years of experience. She has been delivering major community and professional arts projects internationally and across Australia, including key roles in the growth of Strut & Fret, the launch of HOTA’s outdoor stage and gallery, and the co-creation of the transformative SURFACE, Miami Street Arts Festival beside Miami Marketta.
