The Great Burleigh Charity Duck Race is back!
The Rotary Club of Burleigh Heads is hosting the third annual Burleigh Heads Charity Duck Race on Sunday 3rd November at the RSL Reserve Currumbin, supporting victims of domestic and family violence and for a modest $250 investment you can join the fight and secure your better than 1:200 chance of winning a $5,000 travel voucher, or one of our other great prizes.

- Grab your family, friends and colleagues and join us at the RSL Reserve, Currumbin for the combined charity and community duck races and have a quacking good time from 11.00am Sunday 3rd November. BYO picnic or purchase sausage sizzle and drinks.

Why should I enter?
How does it work?
The Rotary Club of Burleigh Heads owns 200 rubber ducks, all with unique numbers (1-200). By sponsoring a duck for $250 you receive a ticket. Your ticket # and contact info will be entered into our master database and then using a randomization program, every ticket will be assigned a duck number. On the day of the duck race, the ducks are all released into the river at once (during peak tidal flow times). Photographers/drone will record the winners as they cross the line. Water safety marshals will collect the ducks at the finish line, the winners are determined by matching the winning duck numbers back to the ticket purchaser.
The adjudicator of the race is the club president, and the decision on the winners is final.
