Rotary Fireside & Social

 You are invited to a Rotary Fireside Chat. It is intended to be an informal, conversational meeting for new(er) and prospective members to learn about Rotary, connect with established members, and discuss the organization's history, projects, and values in a relaxed setting.

The "fireside" aspect signifies a warm, welcoming atmosphere rather than an actual fire, with the goal of fostering belonging and encouraging commitment to Rotary's mission. This event will be valuable to all Rotarians (especially the ones who have not been to a Fireside Chat). We all have much to learn from each other. The Fireside Chat this fall is held in tandem with the planned November Club Social.

Purpose for Rotary Fireside Chat:

1. Present a bird’s eye view of Rotary International, The Rotary Foundation, and the club. · Rotary Yesterday and Today

2. Clarify what you may expect of your membership and the benefits to you and our community.

3. Inform you of what our club expectations are of you as a member.

4. To answer your questions about the Rotary organization in general and the Rotary Club of Red Deer.
