Community & Project Updates
Gina & Amanda gave us a quick update on Inclusion Alberta. Gina has candidates seeking jobs in an office environment as well as a few other workplace types.
Gina is a great resource if you or someone you know is interested in inclusive hiring and including an individual with developmental disabilities in their workplace.
Gloria Beck has (and continues) to work with Inclusion Alberta to hire inclusively for seasonal work, as well as a few other Rotarians.
If you have any questions or would like to know more, reach out to Gina, or the Inclusion Alberta committee through Amanda.
Belize Literacy Alive
Tentative plans are being made that will provide opportunities for club members to be part of an international service project this August. Please check your Club Runner for details about the Ambassador Program and determine if you would like to be involved. Contact Judith or Vangi for more details.
Members of the Belize Literacy Alive team will be returning soon from a quick trip to Belize to advance the project goals and do advance planning for upcoming trips. They report that it was very hot and they were very busy! More updates will be provided in the upcoming weeks.
