Happy/Sad Today:

Leigh has an eviction date for her brother as roommate after he sold and bought a house this weekend.
Adele gave thanks to the Rotary Members, Ray MacBeth and James McPherson, who were all part of the planning committee for the RCMP Regimental Dining-In last Monday night, which was a smashing success in raising funds for the Outreach Centre.
Steve Chow was back at the meeting and happy to report he is healing well from his new knee in mid-December.
Robert Mast put a call out to the membership for participation in the revived Rotary Choir. Please contact him if you are interested.

Bruce paid his fine for his cell phone going off during the meeting.
Bob Hull paid his fine for missing his 50/50 shift.
Vocational
Our vocational speaker today was Richard Longtin, who spoke about the origins for his philanthropic efforts and his philosophy to "pay it forward". Richard has been an Albertan for a year and has not yet chosen an Alberta hockey team. Richard's poll of the room was inconclusive for which team to cheer for. Richard is the Associate VP of External Relations at Red Deer Polytechnic.
Rotary Foundation & Paul Harris Fellows
