Judith: Fufilled childhood dream of belonging to a 4 H club by being a judge at local 4H public speaking contest. Admired the ability of youth to speak confidently and demonstrate resilience.
Sharon M: Encouraging all to participate in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk on Feb 24. Issued a challenge to Darcy to see which Rotary Club in Red Deer can have most participants and raise money for The Mustard Seed and Food Bank
Jerry P: Celebrated his mother's 89 birthday yesterday with 22 family members presents. Joyous to announce the birth of his first grandchild- born today and details TBA
Deena: Had a great time at the Chili Cookoff. Enjoyed a vacation in Mexico and wants to return again. Excited that Divorce Magazine is now available quarterly and digitally.
Gina: Thanked Dean and the Red Deer Rebels for reading to the students at her son's school and being involved in the community. Has had positive conversations with the City of Red Deer regarding possible placements for clients from Inclusion Alberta.
Leigh: Shared the final NFL update as her favorite Lions went far but were finally defeated by the 49ers.
Aliesha: Thanked all those who participated in the recent chili cookoff. Reminded all to mark the 2nd Thursday of each month for Rotary After 5- a casual get together to share in fellowship.
Don O: Returned looking a bit scruffy from his recent sailing adventure. Had to battle sharks from consuming all the dorado that were hooked- score was dorado 3, Don 1. Reflected on the tremendous impact of Jack Donald on the business community.
Ron M: Heading to Palm Springs for 2 months and leaving Darcy M in charge of the books in his absence. However, he will still have his computer with him.
