Ken Johnston: Loved his visit back to Newfoundland and the wonderful hospitality he encountered. Gas was a mere $2.06/litre making our current price of $1.50 look very affordable. Ken also shared that his parents had been among those who shared hospitality in 2001 during the days of 9/11.
Steve Chow: Gleefully reported that he had recently returned from a 3 week cruise.
Chris Warren: Shared the sad news of the passing of his father in law last week. Our condolences to the family on their loss.

Provided a bit of a history lesson- shared that RD Bennett, founding of the CBC, recommended in 1936 (ish) that 5000 watt stations be established in Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, and Red Deer. Curious minds want to know what happened to that Red Deer station!
