Vince and Tony Morelli provided a thought provoking presentation on the use of GPS tracking devices.  Their company, Safe Tracks GPS Canada provides advanced GPS Personal Emergency Locator Devices that are used for monitoring at-risk individuals.  Their initial focus was on providing support to government and  law enforcement agencies across Canada. 

 

They have recently introduced devices that can be to provide support in the area of health and wellness. The personal locator devices can be used to meet the needs of lone workers, independent seniors, and those living with Alzheimer’s,Dementia, Autism, or PTSD. Using cellular coverage, the devices can be programmed to contain personal information and profiles that enable responders to access needed information quickly. A 2 way live call with responders can be activated through a SOS button, sudden fall, or wandering outside a safe zone.  These devices can be used across North America and have many applications.  Club members had many questions and were keen to learn about the applications.

 

Vince shared a possible recurring revenue proposal in which the club would receive a portion of revenue generated through the sale of and monthly monitoring fees.  Please connect with Vince if you require more information.
