Bruce Buruma: Reminded all that today is Red Dress Day: – a day to honour and bring awareness to the thousands of Indigenous women, girls, two-spirit, transgender and gender-diverse people who have gone missing or who have been murdered.
Adele Poratto: Had such a great birthday vacation that she forgot her wedding anniversary today and will need to make amends to Darrel. Excited that Cycling Without Age has been nominated for a Senior Service Award. All are invited for a demo of the trishaws on June 5 at the Golden Circle.
Gerry Winia: Marking 80th Anniversary of Holland's liberation in World War II from Nazi Germany occupation. Gerry notes that 10 years ago he was in Holland and walked with the mayor in a parade to mark the event- a meaningful experience as Gerry's family came from Holland.
