It grew from a single service truck to employing a high of 850 employees across western Canada and the United States, becoming one of the largest power generation sales and service providers in the West. Collicutt Energy Services went through structural changes over the years and is currently an employer of 200 employees and prides itself on being a family run business with ties to the community. It is a leader in the power generation, well servicing and natural gas compression industry with a full range of services including design, sales, servicing, rentals, and parts with locations in Western Canada & the USA. Collicutt is a leading manufacturer of custom power generation equipment. We engineer, design, and manufacture turnkey power solutions. They have the capability to design products to meet the extreme needs of those working in the Yukon and Egypt.
Stephen Collicutt shared that the company tries to do as much possible using Canadian resources- we have the capacity, materials, and knowledge and resources to meet the emerging needs in this sector. He stressed the importance to work together as a country and seize opportunities that arise.
Many members took advantage of the opportunity to take a tour of the facility.

Membership News
An informative evening was held on Wed. Nov 12 at Red Deer Bottling. This Fireside and Social provided an opportunity for members to explore Rotary and enjoy fellowship. Rod Boshnick led the presentations and shared the philosophy behind the formation of Rotary along with challenging those in attendance to determine how they can best use their gifts and talents to serve others. Members learned about the history of our club, the role of youth, the advantages of partaking in exchanges, opportunities to engage in fellowship and local and international project opportunities. The charcuterie board and refreshments were enjoyed and the room was buzzing with conversation. There will be many more opportunities in future months to come together and learn more about Rotary and others within our club. Thanks to all that played a part in making the event a success.
