Dean W: Celebrated the wedding of his daughter- the social event of the century!! He also recommends the duo of Leann and Sheryl K as bartenders who add life to any event.
Dagmar: Thanks to Donna P for allowing her to use the booth at the Farmer's Market last Saturday to promote the tree planting event on June 3. Dagmar is also excited about her son being scouted in hockey. Thanks were also extended to the local radio stations for promoting the upcoming tree planting.
Bryan Wilson: Hike for Hospice raised $50 000 on the weekend.
Leigh: Excited about upcoming surprise trip to Disneyland courtesy of her husband in honor of her 36th birthday. She also reminded all of the Social Impact booth at the Farmer's Market that is available for non-profits to share their information. See Donna/Leigh for more details.
Harvey M.: Happy to reconnect with Ron Whittemore and confirm that he continues to enjoy and support Rotary despite not being able to attend meetings.
Shelley R: Great to see club members out at the Green Deer event on Sunday. Kudos to the city for how clean the area was that we were assigned to maintain. Celebrating the graduation of her son at Red Deer Polytechnic- first time she gets to be an audience member!!

Leann S: Travelled out to Blue River BC to celebrate her son's 25 birthday. Great appreciation given to those who work on the pipelines for extended periods of time. Celebrating today being a mom for 28 years.
Robert L: Enjoyed cruise to Hawaii to celebrate 37th wedding anniversary. Reminded all to save tomorrow's Advocate as it contains 4 additional articles about Rotary in Red Deer.
Sheryl K: Reminded all to vote. Celebrating that women only obtained the right to vote in 1916 in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. In the major scheme of things that is not that long ago!!!
Patricia: Ride for Respect event on July 29 in support of the Sexual Assault Centre. Vendor table opportunities available, volunteer opportunities available.
