Our meeting was opened by President Darcy Mykytyshyn.
Inbound student Victoria Debonnet gave us an update on her very busy past couple of weeks which included a visit by her parents from Belgium. She had dinner with Shelley Ralston, then went to Calgary, Victoria, and Vancouver. She also reported on some tremendous success for the Shelterbox program, with $27,000 raised.
Our Sarge was Don Odell who reminded everyone to get their Citizen of the Year Tickets. Also, members are encouraged to bring a bottle of wine for the wine tree, or consider donating 20 dollars.
Happy/Sad Bucks included: Melody McKnight with happy bucks for four Choir-Kids concerts, and a successful concert despite the cancellation of Ben Heppner. Phil Pattison had happy bucks for the Minor Midget AAA Hockey Championships where he was a linesman for the bronze medal game. Garth Olson had happy bucks for a vacation in Mesa, Joel Ward had happy dollars for the recent unprecedented success of RDC Athletics. Dallas Williams had Citizen of the Year update bucks, and asked that anyone with silent-auction items get them to him soon. Janet Wilson had bucks for her mother's new hip.
Guests of Rotary included: Natalie Wood, Victoria Debonnet, Otto Batagnolli, Jim Quinn, Grant Johnson, Mary Woychuk, and Tanisha Thompson.
50 50 - Victoria had the winning ticket, but didn't win the draw.
Dan Nielsen gave us an update on last year's Black Tie Bingo, and presented President Darcy Mykytyshyn with a cheque for the Club for $103,000.
Happy Birthday was sung to Rotarians with March Birthdays, as well as the long-forgotten December-birthday Rotarians.

President Darcy Mykytyshyn announced that nominations are now open for members to serve on the Board. If you're interested, e mail or call Darcy, or the incoming president Marc. St. Pierre.
There was a reminder of the upcoming dinner May 2nd, 2014 with Rotary International President Ron Burton. Tickets are available online only. A reminder also of the Citizen of the Year Gala May 9th 2014.
