Our Annual Christmas Banquet and Charitable Donations

 

Once again we celebrate the Christmas season with a great time friends, food, song and the Rotarian spirit of generosity. At our Annual Christmas Banquet we presented at total of $15,000 to local services and charities including, the Red Deer Foodbank, the Red Deer Christmas Bureau, RDC Music Students, the Safe Harbour Society, the Salvation Army, and the Central Alberta Women's Shelter. As well we made our Black Tie Bingo cheque presentation of $20,000 to Rick Moore from the Smiles Thru Lindsey Foundation. Our partnering Sponsor, Bill Olafson from Earls Red Deer was also present to award the donation. A great time was had by all and we look forward to another successful season of giving in 2019!
