The Honourable Senator Doug Black brings a rally cry for our province.

Senator Black spoke to a packed house at our Club this past Monday. He shared his thoughts and concerns about where our province is at in regards to Canada's position on our energy sector.

Some of the highlights from his insightful presentation were:
- Bills C69, 48 and the Trans Mountain pipeline.
- It's been tough but Albertans always get through.
- A lot of opposition outside of our province.
- We have a fight on our hands. A negative narrative has been painted about our energy sector.
- We're in the 4th quarter and were not going to give up.
- He's working hard on advocating on our behalf.
- We're at a critical inflexion point.
- The other Canadian Senators need to know that they have to decide if they are for Alberta or not.
