Kathleen O'Donnell
MS & MS Awareness Week

Kathleen O’Donnell, President of the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, will join us to help us learn about multiple sclerosis and the advancements in research, therapies, and quality of life possible now for people who live with MS. Multiple Sclerosis is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. March 7-13 is MS Awareness Week.

Kathleen brings to our discussion over 30 years in non-profit leadership in education, fundraising, board relations, professional development resources, and community engagement. She has worked in the P-20 school system, philanthropy, public media, professional associations, and now for the National MS Society. Her work centers on optimizing human development through transformational resources and equitable access to them. She believes that partnerships across health, education, and human services, grounded in local wisdom and engagement, can ensure that individuals thrive in strong communities.
