Medicine Hat Youth Action Society
The youth drop in centre is located at 524 third St. S.E. Medicine Hat, AB. It is available to youth ages from 11 to 17. It is a charitable organization. Their purpose is to support youth through different activities that they help plan. Activities such as dance, sports, air hockey, foose ball are just to name a few.
It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 4pm to 9pm. There is a planned activity every night as well as special events. It offers the youth the opportunity to be positive role models, promotes volunteerism, improves communication skills, problem-solving skills and a provides a wonderful social network. Funds to operate come from an anonymous donor, casino raised funds, other fund raising activities and are always welcome from outside sources.
