Further to Pres Kim's comments at the meeting, Travis Plaited Hair will join us Aug 9 to share some cultural information including some perspective on the "acknowledgement of Territorial Land".

Monday Pres Kim announced the result of the discussion/survey on the challenges and needs of our community that took place at the last few meetings. The result is that as the year unfolds the board, though the committees, will be focusing on families with children who are impacted by mental and health/addictions wherever applicable. Members....thanks for the input.

 

Firestone for a beer. Everyone is invited to join Wednesday July 28 to celebrate with the Plasma Donors. Members are donating Plasma that afternoon and are congregating for a celebratory drink to which you are all invited. The first donors will be arriving at the Firestone at 5:15-5:30. We learned a few weeks ago how enjoyable gathering for a drink can be!
