Club Elections - Elections and the subsequent Rotary Year are most successful when we have a full slate of candidates. PP Murray and his committee need help filling out the ballot. January Community Service, Fellowship and Engagement - The January team is led by Jeff Warren. They will be working with the Family Center to erect a 3-D Tree (sounds interesting). Date to be advised. Team members Jeff, Mandy, Todd, Whitney, Matt and Mike Mahon Everyone is welcome.
Clubrunner Profiles - Progress but more to be done. Please go on clubrunner and ensure you have a picture and your info is correct. If you don't know how to access Clubrunner.....do that difficult thing.....ask for help!
Connect and Reconnect - This program is getting great reviews. What could be better than a bottle of wine and Rotarians to drink it with......the answer..two bottles of wine of course. This week Jim Christie hosts new member Lynda Thai-Baird. Donna Colovi hosts Mark Morad.
What is Vocational Service It is rooted in the second of the "Objects of Rotary" (see link) which is a philosophical statement of Rotary’s purpose and our responsibilities. Have a look at the link.
Vocational Service calls on Rotarians to encourage and foster:
• High ethical standards in business and professions
• The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations
• The dignifying of each Rotarian’s occupation as an opportunity to serve society
