The Ukrainian Committee is looking for gently used adult and children’s winter clothing and footwear for our families. As past experience shows your generosity may provide more items than we can use (nice problem) and once our families all are outfitted the surplus will be donated to MCC in return for gift certificates for the families. So, one way or the other, your donation will support our Ukrainian Families. If you can help contact Todd or Dennis.
Good news on our Rotary District Grant Applications to help the Ukraine. Both grant applications were approved generating $10,000 to support our local Ukrainian families and $10,000 to send to Disaster Aid Europe to support the needs of those still in the Ukraine.
Rotary Canasta is starting again and needs more players. Since the start of Covid we have lost several participants and we welcome, encourage and need new blood. Beginners are encouraged. The first session will be hosted by Geri and Frank Hecker on October 21 7 PM. New to the game? Come an hour early to learn the basics. Come as couples or as a single.
