Monday's meeting is the official visit of District Governor Steve Leavitt. We look forward to sharing our events and activities and hearing Steve's plans for the 2022-23 Rotary Year. "IMAGINE ROTARY"
 
Ukrainian Update- We now have 11 families being supported by members and the club. People have been generous with donations of household goods and clothing but for the time being we have more than enough of these items. HOWEVER what is needed is bedroom and living room furniture. If you can help contact Todd or Dennis.
 
August is Membership Month in the Rotary world. Can you find a guest to bring this month?
Monday DG Steve will induct our first member for 2022-23. Hopefully, Angel Cortes will be the first of 20 new members this year. Please keep our membership needs in mind as you engage friends, work associates and neighbours.
 
Dues are overdue - There are still eight members who have not paid their dues. It is time.......a personal note will go out this week just in case there has been an oversight.
 
The club has been granted a Casino September 2 and 3. Loralee is looking for volunteers for both days. Sept 2 - Two required for 11-8:00 PM and four from 8:00 to 4 AM. Sept 3 - Four required for 11-8PM and two from 8-4 AM. Sign up next week or contact Loralee
 
Ribfest will take place August 19, 20 and 21 at the Enmax center. This year the event will return to a walk up event event with a drive through option. A request for volunteers will be out shortly.
