On September 20 District Governor Martin Parnell will be our speaker. He is an extremely accomplished individual. Here is a line from one of many online bios....."His accomplishments included running 250 marathons in one year, setting five Guinness World Records in endurance events and summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in 21 hours......" This is only a part of his story but Sept 20 we welcome him as our Rotary District Governor. Put a big asterisk in your calendar for this meeting.
 
This week we were pleased to welcome Romeo Dominice, a Rotarian from the Philippines, who is completing a two year program at the College here in Lethbridge. We expect to see Romeo at our meetings often over the next two years. Please welcome him.
 
Romeo is in need of a good used vehicle for the time he is in Canada. If anyone can help in sourcing one or if the car dealers know a more economical way than daily rental he would like to here from you. 403 437 4602 or  romeo_dominice78@yahoo.com
