Scott Korbett presented his Classification Talk today. Best quote "nothing I have done for money is as enjoyable as the things I do for free"! Apparently, he is also married to a smokin Hot Red Head.
Darryl Douglas also presented his classification talk. Not to be ouitdone, Darryl is married to a Smokin Hot Brunette!
Today Dennis Chinner was recognized as the 2021-22 recipient of the Bernie carriere Legacy Award, an annual award to recognize the deep and broadcommitment of Bernie to Rotary. Dennis is a very worthy recipient who displays the same values as he continues his work in Rotary and in the Community.
Ribfest will take place August 19, 20 and 21 at the Enmax center. This year the event will return to a walk up event event with a drive through option. Nick is looking for volunteers to assist on the committee. nick@grdsec.ca
This week the club announced the the availability of Spousal/Partner memberships. Spouses and Partners would have all the benefits and expectations of current members but with membership dues of only $100. If you have a partner or spouse who is interested submit an membership application which can be found on the Club Website.
Those still wishing to sponsor a Veteran in the Legions "Salute Our Veterans" Campaign still have until July 15 to submit their application. More info at this link.
