Robin Hood proudly announced that Sveinung Rotevatn, one of our Club’s former exchange students, was recently appointed Minister of Climate and Environment in Norway.
Interactor Michela Kroker announced Rotaract’s Global Gala on June 13, which will raise $$$ for Lethbridge Victims Services, and for the water project in Costa Rica.
Nick Nicolacopoulos confirmed that Ribfest will be located at Exhibition Park on July 24-26. The new location allows for much easier set-up, lots of room for “the Ribbers”, plus food trucks and exhibitors. Nick and co-chair Kaela Corazza are looking for coordinators for Marketplace, Sponsorship, Promotions and more.
Connect and Reconnect is entering the next phase, where those who are neither new nor seasoned Rotarians will be matched up with a bottle of wine. Allan Friesen will host Mark deBlois and Shilpa Stocker; Murray Pritchard will share a bottle with Barry Dubnyk and Bruce McKillop.
