Thank You to the Kavanaghs for quality Irish entertainment on March 20. This was the first in a series of fellowship gettogethers planned by fellowship director Melanie Meier.
Monday, Najib Mandal from Family Services provided some good information on Immigration. Canada accepts 300-400,000 immigrants a year to add to the skills and workforce of the country. Only a small percentage (7500) are refugees (displaced people) supported by government dollars.
New Members - We haven't seen many guests/potential members on our Zoom calls. Give some thought to who you know who might be interested in Rotary and invite them to attend. Simply share the link.
I know we are all sick of hearing about Covid but cases in Lethbridge have skyrocketed recently. Everyone needs to be extremely vigilant for the next while. An average of 40+ cases a day over the last week is 3 or 4 times the provincial and national experience based on a population of 100,000 people. Easter will be a temptation to gather. Avoid it. Distance, Mask, Sanitize and Vaccinate
The club will begin its Strategic Planning process on April 13 at 6 PM. This was last done in 2015. Mark this date in your calendar.
