Progress on the $70,000 Teachers Duplex (our third) at the APU Girls School in Malawi Africa. Our Interact Club has been the largest donor along with RC Of Calgary West, Calgary Chinook and our club.
From time to time this past year we have talked about women in Rotary's senior ranks. This year these six women sit on the Rotary International Board up from just one last year......and next year there will be seven.

Our condolences to the family of Susan Carriere, who passed away last week. Susan was the wife of the late (2013) Bernie Carriere, our member and Past District Governor 2007-08. Susan was a great support to Bernie and served Rotary in this way.

This weeks Sgt and Arms (Jim Christie) assessed fines on all of us if we do not carry a Covid mask or sanitizer in our car. The fine is 10 minutes of "weeding" the 100 trees we planted in 2018 in Nicholas Sheran Park to celebrate 100 Years of Rotary in Lethbridge. If you were there on June 9, 2018 and have not been back......also 10 minutes.
