You will note there are two consecutive In Person meetings, (2nd and 9th) as we wanted to have the Remembrance Day meeting and host MP Rachael Harder in an "In Person" meeting. The following two meetings (16th and 23rd) will both be Zoom meetings.

Our Exchange Student from 2017-18, Laci Eged from Hungary did a good job of bringing up to date on his life at our Zoom meeting this week. Laci stated he now has direction in his life because of Rotary and his one year in Lethbridge. (He also now does his own laundry!)

Our
Interact Club (high school age) is holding a
"Trick or Feed" event on Halloween
(Oct 31 4-7 PM) to raise Food Donations for the local Foodbank and
THEY NEED HELP, specifically
vehicles
(Vans or SUVs) and drivers to work with the students as they
collect food in the communities. If you can help,

Thank you Steve Craig who lead our participation in the Sylvan Lake Polio Challenge. Joel, Brenda, Kim and Steve road their bikes for Polio raising $2635 (so far) which turns into $7905 when matched (2:1) by the Gates Foundation. Thanks also to those who sponsored the riders!
