The Club has created the Dogoodery Fund with the Lethbridge Community Foundation. To encourage growth in the fund the club will match new member contributions up to $1000 each and a maximum of $6,000. To donate

The Rotary International Convention June 12-16 will be virtual. An opportunity to attend from your own home. Check it out speakers and program.
The district is sponsoring "Marvellous Moments in May". This is an opportunity to contribute to the mental wellbeing of fellow Rotarians and others by sharing positive pictures or short 30 second videos. Watch this 90 video for all the info.
Further to Police Chief Mehdizadeh's visit to our club he has invited us to participate in a Town Hall meeting Thursday June 3 2-3:30 where information on "Crime Trends in Our Community" will be discussed. Let Allan know if you are interested and he will provide the link when we get it.
Volunteers are needed for the "Ready Set Drive" initiative to assist young people (14-17) to acquire their "Learners driving permit." This program is in cooperation with Big Brothers and Big Sisters. It will require 2 hours X 4 weeks and you will need your Vulnerable Sector Clearance. Contact Allan
Those working with vulnerable sectors (youth, seniors and others) through Rotary sponsored programs must have vulnerable sector clearance. Rotary's Volunteer Screening program is detailed at this link.
